Bring the kids and the critters or, just yourself to this very affordable yet nicely appointed private campground. The RV sites have: water, power and, sewer for $25 a day. There is a pond you are welcome to fish (as long as you catch and release) and, firewood for sale on site. Carl's place (a cafe and gas station) is just a few minutes down the road in case you don't want to cook. Plenty of access to Smith mountain lake within a short drive. The outdoor BBQ pit at the camp site is fairly impressive and, the old truck Tim that serves as a fire pit actually works better than I thought it would. I haven't enjoyed a weekend camping this much in a good long time. This is my new favorite place to camp.
Best campground ever!!!! It's small quiet, kid and dog friendly!!! The owners helped us out big time when our son left his iPod there and we didn't know til we got home that was 2 hours away!!! Not only did they find it but mailed it back the next day and without a single problem. We can't wait til we can do again!!!!
Very friendly owners. Nice large spaces. Lowest rates in the area for full hookup. Great experience for us. Minor issues kept us from giving a 5 star rating - grass needed mowing, some sites not level, no garbage drop on the grounds. But we will return.
Neat, clean Campground. Great area for kids to play. Grills and fire pit at site. Only 3 50 amp services. Our site was cute, really tight to negotiate getting in and out of. Could not have gotten out with our 40 ft unit if site behind us was filled. We'll be back.
I loved it there cause the owners were nice & very friendly. The lady at the desk was so sweet. Campground was clean & quiet. They also had restrooms with showers.
